HorrorCon™ LA is pleased to announce its launch of eSports Gaming Area, a new section for 2023.
The eSports Gaming Area will immerse horror fans and gaming enthusiasts alike in the thrilling world of competitive gaming, where they will have the opportunity "FreePlay" against fellow enthusiasts and even witness intense eSports tournaments, featuring games such as Street Fighter 6, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, Mortal Kombat 1, and more.
For the 2 day weekend, competitors and guests from across California will prove themselves, settle old rivalries, forge new friendships, and engage with the best community around, the Fighting Game Community.
Open Play is available all day 12.OO p.m. - 7:00 p.m
The Gaming Area will also be featuring a Nintendo demo booth, The Neon Arcade and G Fuel.
In the new Gaming Area fans will also have the opportunity to meet some of the most well known Voice Actors from the biggest games, past and present.

HorrorCon LA presents live entertainment brought to you by the Eternal Nightmare Sliding Team, a recently founded slider group in Southern California.
The Eternal Nightmare Sliding Team is dedicated to the mission of making sliding an inclusive sport for all by breaking down barriers, and creating a welcoming environment where individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels can come together to enjoy the exhilarating world of sliding sports.
The team itself is a close-knit community of remarkable and supportive individuals who have dedicated themselves to this cause.
Throughout this past season, they have worked together to create their Debut-captivating and comprehensive slide-show, which shows off unique skills such as jumping over bodies and sliding under people. It’s an exhilarating action packed stunt show that you don’t want to miss!
HorrorCon LA is the ultimate venue to showcase screen used and specialty vehicles on the convention floor.

This year we are celebrating the 1966 "Batman" feature film with a special showcase of the Batcycle ridden by Batman (Adam West) and Robin (Burt Ward) in the movie.

Join us for the “Lurching Forward; Ted Cassidy’s Early Life from Cradle to Creature” Q&A session with Author Christofer Cook and Sean Cassidy live on the Main Stage.
Sean Cassidy uncovers the life, legacy, and lore of his father Ted Cassidy’s career and beloved character, Lurch.
As Sean shares his experiences and stories from growing up on the set of the Addams Family, he will be transformed into his father’s iconic character before your very eyes unlike anyone else - Live on Stage!
Discover scene-worn costume pieces, rare memorabilia, and have your picture taken in the Addams Family ‘living room’ at the Son of Luch exhibit space.
PANEL SPOTLIGHT
Just when you thought it was safe to come to HorrorCon LA…
'Jaws 2' cast members Donna Wilkes (“Jackie”), Gigi Vorgan (“Brooke”), Gary Springer (“Andy”), and Billy Van Zandt (“Bob”) will reunite to reminisce, tell stories, and answer all your questions about the blockbuster sequel to Jaws.
They’ll discuss the original version of the movie, and how it turned into the final version of the film, with a new cast, a different director, and an angry Roy Scheider, as well as the dangers of filming on the Gulf of Mexico, and run-ins with real sharks during the making of the mega-hit sequel.
The cast will be available for signings and group photos before and after the panels at their signing stations.
PANEL SPOTLIGHT
Jeffrey Reddick is a Director, Writer and Film Producer, best known for bringing the “Final Destination” to life wich spawned a billion-dollar franchise!
Jeffrey
Reddick has accomplished so much over 33 years in the film business. The prolific screenwriter for television and film, also played roles in several features, and even served as a producer on a number of projects. He is something of a jack of all trades.
His film credits include Final Destination, Final Destination 2, Tamara, A Life’s Work, Day of the Dead, 200 Hours, The Final Wish, The Call, Good Samaritan, Don’t Look Back, Dead Awake, Return to the Cabin by the Lake, Solo Respira, The Night Sitter, Sleep No More, Bodysnatch, 13 Slays Till X-Mas, Deathcember and Extremity.
While most notable for his work in the horror genre, Reddick has recently been involved in two animated projects for Netflix, including a spin-off of the classic Japanese comic book Usagi Yojimbo by Stan Sakai. He is currently working on an adaptation of the Young Adult book series, The Adventures of Young Captain Nemo and made his directorial debut with the mystery thriller Don’t Look Back in 2020.
Jeffrey will offer a unique opportunity for insights and invaluable advice to screenwriters aspiring to make a mark in the horror genre, emphasizing the importance of originality and storytelling.
Attendees will also have a rare chance to engage with Jeffrey Reddick for a Q & A session.

Enjoy a special live musical performance by composer and sound designer Alan Howarth.
Alan Howarth’s award–winning film work started on Star Trek–The Motion Picture, launching him as a sound designer for the following 6 Star Trek feature films. Next was “Escape From New York”, collaborating on music with director and composer, John Carpenter, and scoring for “Halloween sequels 2–6″, “Christine”, “Big Trouble in Little China”, “Prince of Darkness” and “They Live”. He has since composed music for over 50 films with his most current score of “From the Shadows”.
His sound design work placed him on the Oscar–winning sound effects teams for “The Hunt for Red October” and “Dracula” directed by Francis Ford Coppola, as well as receiving awards and nominations for sound design on "The Little Mermaid", "Back to the Future II" and III, "Stargate", "Die Hard II" and "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
Alan will be available for signings and photos before and after the performance at his signing station.

For last years event, MGM and HorrorCon LA teamed up to dedicate an entire day’s worth of festivities to the cult fan favorite film about a clan of evil aliens who look like clowns and descend on earth to capture, kill, and harvest the human inhabitants in cotton candy cocoons to use as sustenance.
Attendees had a Killer good time with an in depth main stage panel celebrating the 35th anniversary of Killer Klowns from Outer Space, featuring the Chiodo Bros and John Massari, a KKFOS Cosplay Contest and complimentary commemorative poster signing by our panelists..
And to finish the evening strong the Killer Klowns from Outer Space-themed concert and dance party "The Darkkest Karnival" was hosted by John Massari and punk rock band The Dickies in the HorrorCon LA Theater
